Great customer service and happy staff have one thing in common – kindness
I offer a series of workshops to help people realise that by fostering a mind-set of kindness this makes the workplace a better place to be, and this will cascade down to your customers and your bottom-line.
I come from a corporate background and worked in IT for over 25 years. I started out on an IT helpdesk, became a team-leader, service delivery manager and have also worked in project management and pre-sales on proposals and projects ranging from $1,000 to over $1m. I worked in London for 20 years before coming to New Zealand in 2005.
In the last 10 years I have helped my wife in her holistic health business and this is where I was exposed to different techniques for bringing about a more positive focus and I must say it has transformed my life. Now, I am eager to introduce these possibilities to others in the business community who recognise that there is more to life than turning up for work each day, doing the minimum and collecting their pay at the end of the month.
- I meet with the management team and HR to discuss what I can offer
- The management team undertake the training first as this approach needs to be driven from the top
- Then your middle-managers
- Then the remaining staff
Note: The training should be split like this as some of the things that will come up should not be shared with those you lead and the staff won’t open up if they are in the same room as their team-leaders or management.
Everything that is discussed in class remains confidential.
Classes can be run for anything from 2 to 200+ people at a time, and I can bring the workshops to you or run them at an off-site venue anywhere.
