What do I mean by "Healing the reluctant amongst us"?
I know from my experience that there are a lot of people out there who could benefit from "healing"; the problem is, many of them don't know it, or are reluctant to veer off of the path of conventional medicine.
I truly believe that if you have an accident and break a bone, then you need conventional medicine to repair the damage to the physical body, the "machine" if you will. But after you get sent on your way in a plaster cats, or bandaged up, who will repair the spirit or your soul? What was going through your head that day? What beliefs do you hold on to that are not letting you become all that you can be? What mental or emotional damage may have been done as a result of the physical injury?
"Healing" is not an alternative to conventional medicine, it is complementary to it. Interestingly, when my wife Pip had cancer, the oncologist said "...if you are not in the right state of mind the chemotherapy isn't going to work anyway...". If chemo' is all conquering, what does your state of mind have to do with anything? Why do some people on drug trials who take the placebo get better too?
There is so much more going on in this world than conventional medicine can currently explain, and if you are open-minded, we may be able to help you.
Before I start, I would like to point out that I was not brought up under any religion and only went to church at the usual births, death and marriages. I would also like to add that I am not a “born again Christian”, nor have I gone “all religious”; in fact, I do not subscribe to any manmade, religious belief system.
Growing up I would always question everything and you could say I only believed things on the basis of “evidence” in one form or another; usually visual or at least easily recorded and documented. I always considered myself to be the logical one in the family. That said, over time I have come to feel that there is definitely something more going on than can be explained by my scientific upbringing.
No one was more surprised than myself when I realised I could heal.
Being around my wife Pip (who is a highly qualified holistic practitioner and teacher), I have witnessed many things that conventional science simply cannot explain. My “epiphany moment” was accepting that I don’t have to understand how everything works.
I have encountered a lot of people who simply do not understand spiritual “healing”, so a good portion of this site is devoted to explaining this to those who are curious but want to know more before taking that next step.
The key is to be open-minded.
I look forward to hearing from you.
